Where can I purchase tickets?

Tickets are available online via Flicket or you can purchase them at the gate on the day of the festival. 


Do I need to print my ticket out?

Physical tickets are much faster – we recommend you print them, however, we are able to scan from most mobile devices.

Age restrictions and ID

Wildfoods is open to all ages, however, our VIP tent is 18+. If you are wanting to purchase alcohol, you must be issued a wristband at the gate or from our 18+ tent after providing valid ID. We accept the following types of ID: NZ or International Driver’s License, NZ or International Passport, or a Kiwi Access Card (formerly known as an ’18+ Card’).

A “valid ID” means any of the three government-issued official identification documents that are recognised under the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012. A “current ID” is any “valid ID” that has not expired. Current IDs have an expiration date that is later than 9 March 2024.

When do gates open and close?

Gates open from 10:30am and close at 7pm.

What items am I not allowed to bring to the festival?

“Prohibited items” include, without limitation: alcohol; illicit drugs; knives; weapons; fireworks; explosive; glass; cans; bottles; portable BBQs; compressed gas containers; fires or open flames of any kind; political, religious, offensive or race-related banners, signs or materials; flares; air horns; sound amplifiers; water pistols; smoke bombs; drones; laser pointers; skateboards; roller blades; scooters; bicycles; or any item that may interfere with the enjoyment, comfort or safety of other persons or security at the festival.

12:30pm: Registration Closes

Can I bring my dog?

Sadly, your furry friend and any other animal/pet will not be allowed onsite at the festival.

What items are prohibited to be brought into the festival?

No, they can be scanned from your mobile phone. Wildfoods is a sustainability-conscious festival. Please consider the environment before printing your tickets. If you do not have access to a mobile device, or you are concerned about reliability, we can scan from printed tickets.


MOBILE TICKETS

If you are planning to come to the festival with tickets on your device, please consider the following steps:

  1. Ensure your phone is fully charged.
  2. Make sure you have downloaded your tickets (with the QR code fully visible) while you have access to Wifi or cellular data (DO NOT wait until you arrive at the festival site as cell connectivity can be poor). 
  3. Ensure your mobile screen brightness is set to 100%.
Can I bring a personal bag to the festival?

Yes, gate sales will be available on the day of the festival. Please note there will be an increase in price for gate sale tickets, therefore we recommend purchasing tickets at your earliest opportunity.

Why is my ticket not appearing on my phone?

You will receive a ticket confirmation via email shortly after the successful processing of your transaction. In some cases, it may take a few minutes to appear.

If your payment was successfully completed and the confirmation still hasn’t appeared in your Inbox, Junk or Spam folders, please email the ticketing agent directly at  support@flicket.co.nz

I can no longer attend, can I resell my ticket?

Wildfoods Festival Tickets are non-transferable.

Use of an unauthorised third-party resale platform, including but not limited to Facebook, TradeMe, Tixel, Viagogo, is a breach of our Terms & Conditions. Any person who attempts to use a third-party resale platform, including (either to sell or to purchase tickets) will be denied entry and we may cancel any tickets associated with the account responsible for any breach of our terms.

What stallholders will be trading at the festival?

The Wildfoods Festival is open to all ages, however, the VIP tent is strictly 18+ only. 

Can I bring a personal bag to the festival?

18+ wristbands enable festival-goers to be served at our bar and stalls serving alcohol. You will not be served if you do n ot have a wristband on. These are issued at Gate 1 and the 18+ tent – you must provide a current and valid form of ID to receive one. No wristband, no service.

What items are prohibited to be brought into the festival?

There are only three types of ID we can accept, all of which must be current and valid on the day of the festival. They are:

  • NZ Photo Driver’s License
  • NZ or International Passport
  • Kiwi Access Card (previously known as the ‘HANZ 18PLUS Card’)

VIP EXPERIENCE

What stallholders will be trading at the festival?

VIP tickets will be made available later in the year through our ticket provider, Flicket. Please note that VIP tickets are 18+.

Can I bring a personal bag to the festival?

VIP tickets are incredibly sought after and sell out each festival. They include:

  • Priority entry through the dedicated VIP entry lanes.
  • Exclusive indoor area and outdoor seating to relax and unwind between sampling from the stallholders while still providing a view of the main stage. 
  • Five complimentary drinks from our expanded bar including beer, cider, wine, seltzers and non-alcoholic beverages.
  • Complimentary cuisine to keep you fuelled.
  • Luxury toilets (“worth every dollar” – 2024 festival attendee).
  • Festival goody bag.

The VIP tent is located adjacent to the merchandise tent. You can come and go from the VIP area throughout the day.

GETTING THERE

What stallholders will be trading at the festival?

The festival is held at Cass Square, Hokitika. 

Can I bring a personal bag to the festival?

If you are considering driving to the festival, please note that street parking within the vicinity of the festival is very limited. We recomend parking in the township and walking (5 minutes) to the venue. Drop-offs can be made near our entrance points at the Bealey/Weld Street or Brittan/Stafford Street corners.

What items are prohibited to be brought into the festival?

Yes – we just request that you park these clear of access ways. These are not permitted within the festival grounds. We cannot guarantee the security of personal items.
