Hokitika’s biggest day out is back and bigger than ever – fantastic headlining acts, a plethora of food, and hours of festival fun, the Wildfoods Festival promises to deliver another huge celebration right in the heart of Cass Square on Saturday, 12 March 2022.
Where can I purchase tickets?
Tickets will soon be available online via Eventfinda or at the gate on the day of the festival. For further information, visit the ticket section of our website.
Do I need to print my tickets out?
Physical tickets are much faster – we recommend you print them, however, we are able to scan from most mobile devices.
Wildfoods is open to all ages, however, our VIP tent is 18+. If you are wanting to purchase alcohol and look under 25 years of age, you must be issued a wristband from our 18+ tent after providing valid ID. We accept the following types of ID: NZ or International Driver’s License, NZ or International Passport, or a Kiwi Access Card (previously known as an ’18+ Card’).
A “valid ID” means any of the three government issued official identification documents that is recognised under the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012. A “current ID” is any “valid ID” that has not expired. Current ID’s have an expiration date that is later than 13 March 2021.
Entry to the Event will be granted upon presentation of a valid Event Ticket at the Venue.
Event Tickets, or any other entry pass provided by the Promoter in exchange for Event Tickets (e.g. wristbands) must be treated like cash. Event Tickets and/or entry passes that are lost, stolen, destroyed, tampered with, defaced, or damaged will be rendered invalid and will not be refunded or replaced, except as required by law or where the Event Terms provide otherwise.
Gates open from 11am and close at 7pm.
“Prohibited Items ” include, without limitation; alcohol; illicit drugs; knives; weapons; fireworks; explosives; glass; cans; bottles; portable BBQs; compressed gas containers; fires or open flames or any kind; political, religious, offensive or race-related banners, signs, slogans or materials; flares; air horns; sound amplifiers including loudhailers; toy guns or water pistols; smoke bombs and flag sticks; commercial standard recording devices; drones; dogs or other pets; laser pointers; skateboards, roller blades, scooters or bicycles; or items that may interfere with the enjoyment, comfort or safety of other persons or security at the Venue.
How do I sign up for the competition?
Applicants for Feral Fashion may register on the day of the event, or alternatively, you can enter ahead of time by filling out an application form.
Registration closes at 12:30pm and judging commences at 1pm. The winners will be presented at 3:15pm.
